Pressure cycle testing involves subjecting a test article to cyclic pressure variations.  To determine if the part will withstand the stresses of these cyclic pressure changes, it may be continuously subjected to these cycles for several days in order to simulate the thousands of “pressure cycles” it will actually endure throughout its expected service life.
